Reading in the Window Seat at Blumen & Bohnen
Ten minutes of good light is worth fighting a stranger for. We did not fight anyone. This time.
There is one seat at Blumen & Bohnen that catches the afternoon light just right, and we have both, separately, become a little territorial about it.
Why the Window Seat
The light lands on the page at exactly the right angle, the flowers are close enough to smell, and the flat white arrives before you've finished the first paragraph. It is the closest thing we've found to a perfect reading spot.
Etiquette
Arrive early, order something you can nurse for an hour, and if someone is already there, be gracious. We did not fight anyone. This time.
